I washed a set of iPod earbuds last week. In the washing machine. Using a tip I probably read about online, I put my waterlogged techno gadget into the refrigerator to dry out slloowwlly.
Currently rocking out (well, not really rocking...) to one of my custom stations on Pandora. On the inside I'm doing my own little happy dance. Sometimes, it's the little things....

Awesome tip! Patrick has a really interesting story about earbuds getting wet. It seems the new version is very sensitive...so much so that his "ear sweat" makes them not function. He's had to return them four times now. I'll let him know about the fridge option. :) Hope M feels better soon.
