As my daughter, who has a miserable cold, was licking her corn from the table at dinner this evening (hey, she was eating, right?):
Me: "Ick. Time to get out the Lysol wipes...."
Big J (who sits opposite Miss M at the table): "Nah, just don't turn the table around."
We've had sick kids for a few days now, and are reaching the 'gallows humor' stage.

Ohh man I feel for you! I've been sick for a week and I had to pick up Anna this morning due to mushy diapers. When will the madness end!?
I predict the madness will end when springtime arrives and we can open the windows to let the germs out. Hope you both get to feeling better soon!
